Aluminum Solution
Facades Made to Impress
Cladding applies one material over another to give a decorative or protective layer. In construction it adds thermal insulation and weather resistance, and changes how a building reads.
About building cladding
Why Clad in Aluminum
A More Modern Face
Give a home or business a more remarkable, contemporary appearance without touching the structure behind it.
Protects What Is Underneath
A clad surface takes the weather instead of the wall, preventing deterioration and adding strength to the building.
Insulates and Weatherproofs
Cladding adds a degree of thermal insulation and weather resistance on top of the existing construction.
Custom Made to the Design
Every install is fabricated to the client's design in our Canoga Park factory, in the same aluminum profiles as our gates and fencing.
Backed by Our Warranty
Mulholland installations carry a warranty against defects in workmanship and materials.

Features and Benefits
There are many reasons aluminum has become the default choice for re-facing a building. These are the ones that decide it.
Load
Cladding hangs on a structure that was not built to carry it, so weight is the first question. Aluminum has an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio — it spans and stiffens without adding the dead load of stone, masonry or steel, which is what makes it possible to re-face an existing elevation at all.
Low Maintenance
An electro-statically applied powder-coat finish is baked on, not painted on: bump and scratch resistant, water-tight and highly resistant to corrosion. A clad elevation is the part of a building nobody can easily reach, so needing nothing is the point.
Rust and Decay Resistance
Wood decays and iron corrodes, and on a facade both fail in public and at height. Powder-coated aluminum does neither, which is what makes it the premier outdoor material — and why the surface still reads as intended after a decade of sun, salt air and rain.
Design Versatility
The same profiles run flat, angled, perforated or laser-cut, in over twenty powder-coat colours including wood-look finishes. A facade can be made to disappear into the architecture or to become the thing people remember about the building.
Insulation and Weather Resistance
Cladding is a layer between the weather and the wall. It adds a degree of thermal insulation, takes the rain and the wind load that the structure behind it would otherwise take, and slows the deterioration underneath.
Non-Combustible
Aluminum does not burn. On a Southern California elevation that is not a specification detail — it is the difference between a surface that carries fire up a building and one that does not.
