Settle these before fabrication
Late changes to dimensions, walls, paving or access devices are what cause friction on a custom gate job. Confirm these with your client and with us before we fabricate:
- The full scope: every gate, fence run, topper and railing in the package.
- Field dimensions: actual openings, post and wall locations, finished grades and paving.
- Privacy and look: open, semi-private or private; finish color or wood-look; any laser-cut detail.
- Operation: manual or automated, and sliding or swinging.

Sliding or swinging driveway gate?
The site decides. A sliding gate needs a clear run beside the opening. A swinging gate needs open space inside its swing path. Look at the driveway approach, walls, landscaping, slope and where cars stop.
For an automated gate, ask your client how they'll use it day to day. Do they want to open it from the car? Do guests or service providers need a keypad?
